Cookie Policy

This page is an implementation draft prepared from owner-approved source documents and the current codebase. It has not been signed off by qualified legal counsel. It is not legal advice and is not a claim of GDPR, ePrivacy, or other legal compliance.
1. What this Cookie Policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains how Web Kosovo L.L.C (KosovoWeb) uses cookies and similar technologies on kosovoweb.com, the categories we use, and how you can manage preferences. Read it with the Privacy Policy.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We may also use similar technologies such as local storage.
3. Cookie categories we use
3.1 Strictly necessary (always active)
Required for the Website to function. On this site this includes storing your consent choice so the banner does not reappear on every visit until the consent version changes.
3.2 Preferences
Would remember non-essential interface choices. No separate preference cookies are set by KosovoWeb beyond the consent record itself at present.
3.3 Analytics
Would measure how the Website is used. Planned tool: Google Analytics 4 only. GA4 is not loaded. Google Tag Manager and Hotjar are not used and will not be added without a separate owner decision and an updated policy.
3.4 Marketing
Would store a choice for future campaign measurement. Advertising tags are not active. Allowing Marketing does not load a pixel today.
4. Cookie and storage inventory
- Name: kosovoweb_cookie_consent — localStorage — strictly necessary — stores JSON { version, timestamp, categories } — duration: until you clear site data or the consent version changes — provider: KosovoWeb (first party)
- No first-party tracking cookies are set by marketing or analytics scripts, because those scripts are not present
- hCaptcha may set third-party cookies when the enquiry form widget loads. That is bot protection for the form, not optional analytics. Allowing or rejecting Analytics/Marketing in Cookie Settings does not load or block hCaptcha
- GA4 and Calendly cookies are not set, because those tools are not loaded
5. How we get and store your consent
The banner offers Accept all, Reject all, and Customise / Save choices. Necessary is always on. Preferences, Analytics, and Marketing default off until you allow them.
Your choice is stored in localStorage under kosovoweb_cookie_consent with schema version 1.0 and a timestamp. If stored JSON is corrupt or the version does not match, the banner is shown again and the old value is ignored.
You can change choices at any time via Cookie Settings in the footer. Reject all keeps necessary storage and turns optional categories off.
6. How to manage cookies
6.1 KosovoWeb cookie settings
Use Cookie Settings in the footer. The dialog is keyboard-accessible and can be closed with Escape.
6.2 Browser settings
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and site data. Blocking necessary storage may affect the consent banner and other basic behaviour.
6.3 Do Not Track
There is no universal DNT standard. This Website does not treat DNT as a substitute for the consent panel.
7. Third parties that may set cookies later
hCaptcha is active on the enquiry form and may set cookies. If GA4 or Calendly are later activated, this section and the inventory will be updated and the consent version will be increased if purposes or vendors change materially.
8. Updates to this list
Integrations may change. We will update this Cookie Policy when features are added or removed. A material vendor/purpose change re-prompts consent by bumping CONSENT_VERSION in the Website code.
9. Changes to this Cookie Policy
The latest version is published on this page. Last updated: 25 August 2026.
